Indicative specifications on this website are not a contractual offer. Density, colour and grain vary naturally between logs and shipments; samples are the reference for appearance.

Compliance is part of the specification. Timber is sourced through licensed supply partners and shipped with origin, harvest and phytosanitary documentation. Permit-controlled species are supplied only with valid CITES permits.

Our sourcing approach

Formats and grades

Built around your production requirements.

We quote against the way you actually manufacture. Tell us the finished component, the machine constraints and the volume, and we will propose a practical format rather than a generic pack.

LogsSubject to size, species and export regulations. Diameter and length ranges confirmed per parcel.
Sawn timberThicknessed and edged to agreed dimensions, sorted by grade and packed for export.
Kiln-dried boardsTarget moisture 8–12% for interior joinery, furniture and flooring. Moisture checked at dispatch.
Veneer flitchesSelected flitches for veneer and panel producers, subject to species and volume.
Blanks and shortsTurning blanks, shorts and offcuts for smaller production runs and specialist products.
Custom packingBundles strapped, wrapped and marked to your handling requirements, including mixed-width packs.

Commercial grades

A shared language for quality.

We use recognised visual grades as a starting point, then agree the exact defect tolerance, colour sort and dimension allowance in writing. If you work to an internal grade rule, send it with your enquiry.

FAS / SelectClean, high-yield material for face work, joinery and premium components.
No.1 CommonSound material with character marks, suitable for furniture, cabinetry and general joinery.
No.2 CommonPractical grade for painted work, structural components and volume production.
Custom sortSpecies-specific grading, colour sorting and dimension tolerances agreed per contract.

What to include in your enquiry.

The more specific your brief, the faster we can confirm availability and price. Include as much of the following as applies.

  • Species and botanical name — common names vary between markets.
  • Format and dimensions — logs, sawn, KD boards, blanks; thickness, width and length.
  • Volume and delivery schedule — cubic metres per shipment and expected frequency.
  • Grade and moisture target — your internal grade rule or a recognised grade.
  • Destination and Incoterm — port, country and whether you need FOB or CIF pricing.
  • Packing and marking requirements — bundle size, labels, mixed widths, container loading.
