Mahogany
Khaya spp.
A classic furniture hardwood with warm colour, fine texture and excellent workability.
About the species: Mahogany
Our Khaya mahogany is selected for consistent colour and clean grain. It is a reliable choice for cabinetry, interior joinery and veneer, with good machining and finishing characteristics.
We can supply sawn and kiln-dried material in mixed widths, sorted by grade and colour where requested. Sample approval is available for colour-critical work.
Typical applications

Working and finishing
Straight grain and fine texture make it easy to machine and polish. Use sharp cutters to avoid tearing on interlocked sections and test finishes on a sample.
